2) Listen for a clunk sound. This is the sound the latch will make as it falls into its hole. Close the input valve and open the exhaust valve. 3)The lift will lower a little and stop. After the boat has stopped, close the exhaust valve.
Lowering Your Lift:2)Close the input valve - you can now tell that the latch is free buy pulling and relaxing the cord a few times. You will here the same clunk as before. 3) After you are sure the latch is free, pull and hold the cord while opening the exhaust valve. AFter the boat begins to lower, hold the cord for aproximatly 5 more seconds to let the latch travel past the hole. You may not let go of the cord. Do NOT Leave the boat on the lift without raising it and securing it on the latch!
